MOSCOW, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has summarized the results and outlined priorities for the development of Russia's military-technical cooperation (MTC) with foreign states, the Kremlin press service reported.
"The Russian system of MTC has demonstrated efficiency and high resilience in 2025. Military products were supplied to more than 30 countries worldwide, and the amount of foreign exchange earnings exceeded 15 billion (U.S.) dollars," the Russian President said Friday at a meeting of the Commission on MTC.
Putin said the achieved results make it possible to allocate additional funds to modernize defense industry enterprises, expand production capacities, and conduct prospective scientific research.
The Russian leader further said that in 2026, the volume of Russian military exports should increase significantly, and the priority areas for the development of military-technical cooperation will be the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, and African countries. ■
